Are you only allowed one cantina per city? (or likewise med center or theater) Or can you have multiple cantinas in the city, since they are privately owned structures?

I'd assume multiple. Not only are they player owned, but Bestine and mos Eisley have two.

They are not player owned... they are the property of the city.. I do not know if you can have multiple or not... but it would be nice to have the choice... regardless they still are part of the city costs at the end of the week.

Actually I'm pretty sure they are player owned. They must be placed by members of certain professions and take up some of that person's lots. I also believe the person who places them is responsible for all their upkeep.

hehe I may be wrong... I'll let you know thursday when I find out for sure..

btw a player must also place the city hall and he does not OWN in it any way... short of having the power to destroy it... it isn't his and it doesn't take away from his lots...

On TC several player cites had multiple cantinas and med centers, so unless they changed it for live, the answer is yes you can.
