yikes... just where are we supposed to get that kinda money if we're just an outpost? there's a cap on taxes you know and the way i figure it.. impossible less you start throwing your own money into it

Well, that you have the possibility to stay an outpost doesn't mean it's the most efficient way to manage a city. If anything, taxes will likely be lower per head on metropolis, where there will be a lot fo commerce and shuttleport passage.

i've done some figuring

assuming people have a 60cr/hour house (hah ok that large naboo you had doesn't place so you can't use that)

the max property tax is like 20% right? so that's another 12c/hr, that's a whopping2016 credits a week

20% tax is a bit much anyhow isn't it?

maximum income tax isa 2000cr/week max flat fee

so per person we're up to 4016

at outpost you still pay 35000/week which would require 9 people at high tax rates to match...

I've noticed some options make your maint on your hall increase, like registering on the planet map is 5k more

so that means you could adjust it DOWN right

why not have the maint pool reflect the number of citizens for your city? wouldn't that be fair? wouldn't that encourage more people to participate?

Also the whole 'I'll lower your taxes if you elect me' slogan will always work

no.. 4000/week isn't much but if 4000/week doesn't cover your maint, at the max taxation level, then what good is it?
