Thread: Not to be rude...but what the f*** is going on...
I havent been more excited for any game expansion or update as Player Cities. I ran home after school and jumped on my comp and started SWG. I logged out in coronet so i could get politician. well i get it....go out to the site of the future city and our architect made me a city hall. i go to put it down and i cant cause there are already 10 cities. I understand how we cant have too many cities but still....just cause i cant be on when you guys update the game doesnt mean i am out of luck! We have more houses than half the ppl with player cities and we cant make our freakin town. So...what happens when you guys update again and make a higher player city capacity? i run home cause after a month i can finally start getting politician xp and find out that people were on when i was at school and were able to put up a freakin city cause they have 6 friends the threw there houses up in the same area. This is absolutely and utterly ridiculus! I want the same chance to have a city as any other politician. You developers really need to work this out. Either make the player cities sensible or take them out of the game. Right now i have skill points that i am saving that i might not be able to use for months from now because they are reserved for polotician. PlzPLz....I am totaly going to disregard the ability of the forums as a means of feedback if i dont get a reply from an admin or developer!
*look for my post in other forums about imp/reb guilds and how much they hurt the game*
Actually, you're good to go in just a couple more days. They have changed the rules so that anyone can place a Hall and have an Outpost sized city, and it doesn't count toward the cap until Rank II. You may not be able to grow until they ease the cap, but you can still have your basics and start gaining your experience points. It's not perfect, I know, but at least its something. That should go in early next week.

Outposts are not going to count against the planetary limits, and said limits will be made larger. Should only be a maximum time of a week.
It does suck though, I give you that.
oh, no big deal, go run for mayor in another city for a while, have a couple friends come along and vote for you so you get xp.....
oh wait... that would be griefing and you can't get into that city since its essentially privatized and they're afraid you might take over their private city...
sorry, you're completely out of luck for getting experience unlike every other profession in the game.

awsome! finally someone posts about the truth about moving into another towna nd runnning for mayor. I also want to comment that this wouldn't be a problem if my whole guild wasnt already well established in their current location.
oh yeh...cap lifted a few days? few days means a week or 2 to SOE. I dont mean to bash, but this isnt one of those problems they can put off like its Droid Engineering
