Thread: The Politician Exp Cap
None of us knows this yet, and I would hate to have to find out the hard way. Currently, what we do know is that it is more then 2x, but thats about it. Someone told me the correspondent said more then 2x, but did not provide a specific number for whatever reason.
I personally do not think there should be ANY exp cap. If you get 40 votes, even in the first week, you should get 4k exp. The reason being is that exp is very hard to get as a politician. It isn't hard that we need to get votes, although eventually winning elections should and will be a big deal, it is hard that we get the experience at the end of each week and thats all we have to play with for a week... perhaps two weeks when we start to go for tier 4 skills.
Politicians cannot get exp by grinding, they cannot get exp by powergaming. Each vote is very important, and it would be a shame for the extra votes you got to not be counted towards the exp you get simply because of some artificial cap. We only get experience once a week, and that exp should not be capped out simply because we are all novice. If a city has a lot of people already, so be it - big cities with more citizens should grow faster, simply because they are technically supposed to. Cities near ports IRL grew faster then inland cities because more people lived there, that made sense.\
So simply put, we should not cap out. Since we cannot grind politician, we can only rally support of our voters to vote for us, we should get exp for every person we convince to vote for us.
