Does CGW alignent have anything to do with the city? If I start a city will it be marked as rebel, and therefore be targeted by Imps?
My city plans to be nuetral, but I am a rebel.

Nope, currently there is no way to declare a city towards a faction. However, if the Mayor was a "die hard" rebel, I would assume he would be aiming to create a rebel city.
At Martial Policy IV a mayor gets the ability to place factional terminals.

Thanks. So city buildings placed by a rebel mayor won't have a rebel mark on them like houses and structures do?

No, however I wish there was an ability in the Martial tree for the mayor to declare a city for a faction. Hang rebel flags from the hall, etc.

Martial Policy IV lets you place faction terminals. I said that in my first post on this thread ![]()
There is no way to officialy declare the faction of a city.

Nope. My city is currently under imperial control and I am a rebel ... of course that could explain why I was assasinated last month (and why my clone is now running for re-election
)

I still need to make sure that city structures placed by an aligned mayor aren't going to have the alignment mark on them like my personal structures do, though. If they do, I can't be mayor of a truly nuetral city.

They won't. The only structures that get your factional mark are Factories and Harvestor-types for the most part.
