Mayors need to get an evict option to force out greifers and other idiots that try to be cute. Perhaps something like an Eviction withina certain time frame, to give them time top remove there things before they are destroyed. We also need a Ban list for cities.

so, you get ultimate power to evict anyone you want? even if i've done nothing wrong? seems a bit too godlike to me.

Well, either people can take the chance of evicting those who have done "nothing wrong" or get stuck with jerk who completely abuse the city. *shrugs* I'd take the evict option and risk getting voted out if I abuse it.

Well, what about a vote? "Shall we evict THIS person?" Vote tallied at end of the week.

The person in question would then no longer bea citizen. It is not a matter of whether or not you did anything wrong, but rather, should you even be living in a town full of people that don't want you there?

If everyone inmy cityhated ME, I'd sure as heck move.

now the vote i think is a good idea... in fact it might be one of the better ones thank you.

get someone who's nothing but a trouble maker and you vote him out.... but no way you can just randomly boot people out of the city for no reason or because of a personal grudge.

thats being unfair to anyone who was in the city before the hall

well, belith i'm one who thinks there should be no zoning restrictions at all that don't let me place "someplace" within the city. restricting where is ok in my opinion but not to stop me completely. but i'm trying to be fair and openminded and at least its better than one person just deciding to randomly kick me out.

Cityban will prevent someone from using all civil buildings. Add banning that individual from all shops and houses and they suddenly can only vote. Useful for getting rid of a troublemaker if your city is out away from others and not near another place with a shuttleport. If you have 3-4 cities side by side all with shuttleports though, it's not going to do much.

I like the idea of an evict option. It can definitely use a control or a limitation, perhaps a city vote, but it is necessary.

Tax the hell out of them and reimburse your guildies

Eviction by vote is fine with me, I don't want absolute power. I just want to get rid of an idiot greifer.

So get your XP up and learn Martial Policy I: Militia so you can create a militia and use /cityban.

Add the evict feature. The threat of idiot griefers is far more real then the hypothetical "Evil mayor with axe to grind". Most mayors, being concerned with the welfare of the city, wouldnt be so heavy handed and risk turning the city pop against them. But most griefers will get their sick jollies screwing with said city.
