I have been incumbent mayor since I dropped the hall last thursday. During that time the city has gained 18 residents and all have voted for me. I have not seen any xp for this. I have spoken with other politicians who have already gotten enough xp to get a skill box. Why am I not getting any xp?

Is it becasue there is no one running against me? Thepolitician I know that has gotten xp ran against someone else. Maybe that is a requirement...

Is anyone else having this problem?

I think the people that said they have skill boxes are mistaken. You'll get your votes next thursday, according to SWG. Votes are only tallied once a week.

No9t a problem, it is by design.

Exp is figured and doled out when the election goes down, not before.

if someone already got boxes.. they probably bought them with FP

The other people are lying. You won't get any XP until your city completes it's first cycle. My city has 32 residents and I have 26 votes, no XP.

you are supposed to only be able to get the xp after the week is done and the votes are tallied... I'm not sure about those other poli's, you're not even supposed to be able to trade faction for poli xp... I think they might have been yanking your chain

Ooooh, I didn't even think about using FP...

I heard you can't buy politician xp with faction points. It would only make sense if cities are thought of as 'neutral'.

From what I have read, you get 100xp per vote at the end of the voting cycle. I have no idea if they capped the politician tree. I hope not because you only can gain EXP 1 time a week, but I bet they did anyway.

So for the math impaired, 100xp x 20citizens = 2000xp at the end of your first week to use.

It is correct in that you don't get XP until end of week... It is correct in that you can NOT trade FP for Politician XP... and it is correct that ANYONE who told you they have XP OR that they have any other City Structure than City Hall are LIEING TO YOU!!
