Thread: Is there a size limit for cities on Dantooine?
Well, for your sake I hope there is not a limit to the population of player cities. That would be rough.
I'd create a character on that server just to see it.
It is about7 minutes south of theimp outpost on dantooine.
It is called Ghost Town since we are the Ghost Guild
Of course we are anything but a ghost town.
Right now we are just cramed in there as tight as possible to make sure we meet the upcomming requirments and get a lot of vote xp for our mayor.
We are teamed up with an offshoot sister guild DSG as well.
We will organize things later. a little more. We have basic areas set up, but some area's will be removed later when the city can expand.
Oh yeah, we are on Bria and accepting new members, but only DSG and Ghost members can build in our city.
We are not a democracy!!!
We are an imperial dictatorship
Sounds like you have more than enough players to make East Ghosttown, and West Ghosttown....and possibly North and South..lol
You should have no problems running two seperate cities though, maybe you could make one a faction city, the other civlian.... and place the city halls exactly 1000m apart from each other... most people wouldn't even know they left one city and entered another.
I've heard rumors that the cities on the lesser populated planets like Lok and Dantooine will not be able to grow to the metropolis level.
Is this true? My 340 person guild has set up a city there since we got shut out of Tantooine an hour after the servers came back up since our architect couldn't log on because of the server loading problems.
While this already made us abandon our HQ set up in a great spot on Tat where we also planned our city, we were ok with the move to Dantooine since we like to go hunting there.
But now I hear that one of the largest guilds in the game may not be able to grow to a metropolis just because the devs don't think Dantooine should have large cities on it.
Please only give me facts or dev statements and not just rumors.
There was nothing in the city FAQ about it. But then they didn't mention planetary city limits either.
