Thread: Floor plan sizes
Thank you !Hey does someone know the ACTUAL TILES needed for decorations?
like gardens, fountains, statues,merchant tents lamp posts shuttleport, cantina, theaterand hospital
ive heard small gardens are 2x2 and the merchant tents are like a big cross can anyone confirm this or help me out its hell trying to plan a city if i dont know floorplans its like playing the blind man!

Dimensions are Front x Side
Shuttle Port
Footprint 7 x 5.
Structure 4 x 5.
The structure is centrally placed, 0.5 from the front and back and 1.5 from the left and right sides. The entrance is at the front and is the only way in. The ticket machine is on the left and the ticket droid is on the right (as you face the building).
Large Garden
Footprint 5 x 5.
Structure 3 x 3.
The structure is centrally placed (just over 3x3 in actual size) and the gardens vary as far as entrances are concerned. There are pictures on the SWG website. If they are on an uneven surface then you will see steps form around them (all buildings form some sort of steps when placed like this) in a pyramid shape up to the footprint size.
Cloning Centre
Footprint 5 x 5.
Structure 3 x 3.
The structure is 0.5 from the back, 1 from the sides and 1.5 from the front. There are some steps placed centrally at the front measuring 1x1.
Cantina
Footprint 7 x 7.
Structure 4.5 x 4.5.
The structure is 1 from the back, 1 from the right (looking from the front), 1.5 from the left and 1.5 from the front. There are some stairs 1.5x0.5 placed centrally at the front.
Bank
Footprint 3 x 3.
Structure 1 x 1.
The structure is centrally placed and you can enter from any side.
Merchant Tent
Footprint 3 x 3.
Structure 1 x 1.
The structure is centrally placed and has one entrance at the front.
Medium Garden
Footprint 5 x 5.
Structure 2 x 2.
The rest is the same as Large Gardens.
City Hall
Footprint 9 x 7.
Main Structure 4 x 5.
2 Wings on each side 1.5 x 2.
Front Area 5 x 2 (some of this is inside Main Structure).
Basically this is a cross shaped building, the back is 1 away and the sides of the wings are 0.5 away with the front being 3 away. There are some steps centrally placed 2 x 0.5.
Hospital
Footprint 5 x 5.
Structure 3 x 3.5.
The structure is 1 from the front, 1 from the sides and 1.5 from the back. The door is on the far right hand side.
Small Garden
Footprint 3 x 3.
Structure 1 x 1.
The rest is the same as Large Gardens.
Misc
The following don't have a footprint but do have a 1 x 1 structure sixe however seem to be able to overlap other footprints.
Gungan Head Statue and Fountain.
Mission Terminals can be placed almost anywhere it seems and are tiny.
Man have I heard different:
Hospital is 6x7
Cloning Center is 5x5
Shuttleport is 6x7
Small Park is 3x3
Medium Park is either 4x4 or 5x5
Large Park is either 5x5 or 7x7
Exotic is either 6x6 or 7x7
Its kind of weird that so many different sizes go floating around for everything, which makes it where I have to go to TC and find out peronsally now.
