Thread: Voting
I was under the assumption that if no one runs against the mayor, they get all the experience because the default vote goes to them.
However, if you check the voting booth, there is no election if no one runs against the mayor, so it now leads me to believe that one may not get the experience.
Can anyone with a city hall who didn't have a competitor clear this up?
well that's the way it's looking atm, thing that's annoying me is that it's been 3 days and i've still had no answer from any 1 as to whether there gonna sort this out or not
That is INCORRECT. If there is no one running against the incumbant, every citizen 'proxy votes' for the incumbant. In my city there was no one running against me, and it wouldn't let anyone vote saying "no one is running against the mayor". I banked 2700 exp for my 28 citizens. (mayor vote counts for decided who stays and who goes, but not exp *mutter*)
Again, you need not have a competitor to gain exp. Those that didn't get EXP simply encountered a bug, contact via the holocron in the game and they should ammend the situation soon.
I got XP and no one ran against me.
