Thread: Tax Idea: Taxing missions

This is an idea I just had, and I want to know what my fellow mayors think of it.

What if it was possible to tax missions taken from mission terminals inside the city? It would encourage us mayors to make sure our city is busy with people who might take missions from terminals we have placed. It would also feel like a less painful tax from members of the city because it would taxing money they just made, rather than money they have stored up. Also it would be another way to make money from non-citizens who are using the cities facilities.

What does everyone else think? Agree, disagree, or more ideas?

Most I know would rather the city mission terminals acted like the faction base ones. The faction base terminals might list 1000 credits for a mission, but are actually higher. The monetary amount above the listed mission payout is never seen by the player but is deposited directly into the base maintenence.

This is an idea then has already been brought up in many other threads. And you are 100% correct. Placing a mission term right now only keeps your hunters in town. It doesn't keep the BH's, or faction hunters in town (until you get Military4).
