Thread: Politician No XP for Placing Structures???
So it's all based on votes? Since you cant redeed politcian placed structures I'd think it would be good to give xp. Even 25 is something but all based on votes... so I get 2500 total. Means basically w first tier skills. I mean honestly some people will get 10000xp and can do a lot, so whatever. I think there should be xp given for placement of structure or granting zoning rights even if small.
Unless I am wrong and you do get XP but I am pretty sure you don't.

As I understand it, you can redeed everything except for the city hall itself. So yeah, that'd be bad if XP came from placing things.
There should be other forms of XP though, maybe time in office bonuses, your use of the /grantzoningrights, maybe a bonus for having the budget in the black, etc. Kinda whacky ideas, but it'd all add up.
Mind you, I'm not totally unhappy about the current system (as a mayor I will get XP and I don't mind that it is kinda slow...my city is growing slowly too so I'm in no rush), but I do think it sucks if you aren't a mayor and can't break into the profession.
This is why I suggest council positions and sub-mayor like positions for other politicians, so that 'newbie' politicians can gain experience under the tutelage of a more experienced mayor, who is running the whole show.
