Thread: I have a bad feeling about this....
Our 7 PA City missed the City Hall placement by seconds. We have had a monstrous city started there since first week of release on Naboo.
Something tells me that there is another race about to happen......and I'm not sure when it starts? That our monster town may not get to place the City Hall yet again? Better yet....if we do place, we won't be able to grow?
Not only am I thouroughly confused right now, I have a feeling theres a race thats about to start yet again....and we'll lose yet again.
If only some official were to actually say something.
I have a bad feeling about this....
You are right in that it is a race -- but it is a race for a place in line. Get your city hall placed asap. Here is how the system determines when the city can grow:
At exactly one week, to the second, server time from when you placed your city hall, the system begins theelectionplayer city "event". During this event it checks to see if the city meets the rank requirements AND if it does, if the planet is under the cap. If both of those criteria are met your cities grows.
As long as you get your city hall placed and you are the size you say -- you will eventually make the rank II check -- as you know, it takes a lot of work to keep a community interesting and engaged in a city. Building up to 20 is a moderate task -- keeping them interested in much harder. Cities will go up and down in population.
but in WHAT ORDER will the new check will be done ? the fist race for the outpost cap was a real race, because whoever first placed the hall would get the cap.
but now when there are 11 outposts waiting for city update in a planet, and the level 2 city cap is 10, which ever 10 is checked by the servers will get the cap, the 11th wont get it just because it is the last.
what will determine the check order ?
