ok so at first i thought it took 15 people to advance to level 2 but a couple days went by and i started hearing that it takes 20 now for rank 2 and i read the FAQ and it states :

City Rank: Outpost
(Level1; 10 citizens, 150m)
Pop. Req. for Advancement: 15
Max Decorations: 10
Max Mission Terminals: 3
Max Skill Trainers: 3
Rank Enabled Structures:
+Small Gardens

City Rank: Village
(Level 2; 20 citizens, 200m)

the part im confused about is the "Pop. Req. for Advancement: 15" from an outpost which is exactly what my city has 15 citizens at the moment

BUT at rank 2 it says "Level 2; 20 citizens, 200m"

is this a misprint and it really takes 20 even though the city hall terminal still says 15 or is there 15 required to update and you need to get 20 by the end of the election week to advance ? im confused.

Also what happens if on this election we have 15 but 2 days later we now have 20 do we then wait untill the end of that current election week to end to upgrade or is it immidiate ?

With tomorrow's patch that number will probably be put to 20, my town has 17 so we'll also miss the "upgrade"

Well "upgrade" is 2 days away. Is it different for each city I think it is? Well, we have 20 soon to be 21 with more flocking in after update/election. So hopecully we get 21 by then just in case when I move in as Mayor it doesnt go to 19 because current mayor is homeless even tho he has a house. That's an issue few discuss if you are borderline and switch mayors from the incumbant.
