This is probebly just another bug but wanted to check if other people are seeing it. The Time to Next Election/Update seems to be slideing a little bit every day for our city hall . This is more or less exactly what we saw with the "Time To Vul" windows on faction bases. Its not a major issue like it was with the bases - but just something else for the bug list id imagine...

Hmm, didn't notice that. I'll have to check that out. Although that doesn't sound like a bug for the faction bases, seems to make sense to me. That way people can't place bases just before server shut down and have them nearly invunerable to attack.

I think that the timer doesn't run when the server is down. I planted the cityhall friday evening and the updater tells me next update will be friday night. It has slided for about 5'ish hours now.

No - ActuallyIt was a grave bug with the bases and PVP has yet to recover to the level it was before - at least on my server. The point was to be able to pick a time to defend them when you could mount a defense. But the timer kept slideing every day. My own PA's 3 bases were destoryed within a week when the timers slid to like 3 AM (Orginally they were closer to 8 Pm). Combined with another serious bug (You coudelnt stop the destruction sequence one it got started) - Vitually all the faction bases belonging to the more active PA's in the GCW were destroyed in short order.

This is a diff situation. i dont see how the timersmoving even a few hours a week would affect anything (Maybe organize that last min overthrow of the mayor?) - but it seems to be another manisfestation of the same bug that killed off the bases in a big way.

I believe you lose the time the server is down. So you will lose about 7 hours per week. Sort of sucks every 3 weeks your update will shift a day, roughly.
