I built my house just outside our city limits because there wasn't enough room within the city limits. Today, to my suprise when I logged on I had a message saying that I was now a resident of the city.

I though the expansion would have taken place later in the day around the time that we set our city hall.

However, I did run to city hall and try and vote and I could not vote yet. . . Sort of weird. Possibly the city expansion is calculated on the 7th day upon server reboot, where as certain function such as the mayor's election is calaculated exactly 7 days to the minute from the time the city hall is placed.

It would be interesting to see if certain next level structures could be placed upon server reboot.

There is a time drift so, from from what understand, the first election will be help 7 days and 7 hours after the Hall was placed.

I noticed that there were about 12 more houses in city limits this morning but the radius still says 150m on the terminal. Weird.
