I was curious if the city maint was still greater than the amount of money the city recieves from taxes.

Too many variables there. You could exceed the fee in the first week with Property Taxing all structures within 150m.

He is referring to a metropolis with a considerable number of civic structures (cloning, shuttle, bank, and a few terminals/trainers) a few parks and 100 members the incoming from taxes is too low to support the city without donations. Unless one of your crafters gets so much traffic that money from shuttleports and sales tax is more then the rest of the taxes combined. I hope that maint isnt changed (except lower it on parks) since shuttleports cost 25k and that seems cheap. Really they just need to up the amount of income and property tax you can have out there. 1k from a bank is nothing, I always have that (even when I consider myself broke) unless I'm carrying it all with me so I dont have to do that 5% loss with a bank tip from trades.
