Then I would look towards the other planets...The big 3 are going to be strife with political infighting which is fine and dandy with me. But if you want an only us inclusive club, that is what a PA is for...not a city. If you want a city you have to be able to deal with the possibility that there are other people who are not part of your club...

The fact is LordMaxx, we were misled. Sure there are people upset and in your opinion whining, but a whiner has no facts to back them up. They just whine cause they dont like something. In this case we were misinformed. A lot of people put in a lot of time and whether or not you think its right or wrong, the Devs cold have saved us a ton of time and work by letting us in on this way before hand. They did not.

This is the real problem. Sure cities will fall and new one's will spring up. Sure I can join another city. Thats not the point though. The point is I have wasted a considerable amount of time when I could have been doing something else in game. Ther in lies the rub..

At the very least we deserve an, Im sorry, or something! Anything! This is a mistake. The way they have handled it is a mistake and the way it is being implimented is a mistake.

I'm not a whiner, in fact I'm usually the optomist. This however put a feeling in my stomach that made me ill. I've spent weeks researching politician and player cities. I've planned the city and convinced nearly all the active players in our PA to move all their homes and stuff to where we planned. I've spent lots of time measuring out the locations of each building so I can place things where I want them in the grand scheme of the city. I was never a "I'll leave if you do this" kind of player, but this one just killed my goals for this game. On tatooine, there are like 6 NPC cities. that averages to less than 2 suburbs per major city. Our city wasn't going to be a suburb. I don't want to be part of a group of people that pick up their homes and move into someone else's planned city with the sole intention of taking over. That tactic is wrong. But what else can we do?? Move to Talus, there is no reason for people to go there, so how then does our merchant economy stand a chance. If the servers can't handle what you program for players to do, upgrade the servers. And what about the market for city halls you have just destroyed. Sucks for the architects. Only so many player buildings can go in the very small number of cities aloud. I am sad to say I am starting to believe all those that claim the developers have no clue. Do they, or is this game gonna be the best representation of America there is.... unrealized potential...... I may not be here to find out

Bluelew23 your issue is that you believeSWG and its development as a gameto be a democracy! It is far froma democracy. The dev's look for input....................look for input. They make decisions based on much more than just player input. There are technical, game balance, and financial issue that play into every decision being made. I defy you to show me the thread and statment that said player cities would be unlimited! Prove the misinformation!

I personally like the limitation from a player balance perspective. Hopefully this will move population to planets like mine, Talus. It sure is lonely on Talus.

Ok 10 cap...but it seems logical based on plinka's expanded post that the number could very well grow. And it probably will so you guys who have been planning for months and months and YEARS sob!!! can wait one more month if you dont get your precious expanded PA hall down in the first 10.

Yes I called it an expanded PA hall because it seems alot of the thinking in the above 9 page thread is that your PA has been planning this. Does this mean you will also be exclutionists? Its my city and we voted on our message board for DudeX to be mayor and if you dont vote for him to give him the experience we'll sick the militia on you!

Player cities is about expanding the game past PAs about even LARGER groups of people getting together. if 50 people move into 'your' city and vote someone else mayor...well all the better, you actually bring politics *gasp* into the politician character and you actually have a living city! Id vote for not allowing PA halls in city limits, but that is getting a little rediculous...

So you whine about not being represented...I hardly think the outspoken crowd (most of which are reposting several time in the same thread) are the majority. If you say anything in the area of "most people" "thousands will quit" "this will ruin hundreds of peoples game" Thats hearsay and just not admissable...sorry next.

Plinka, thanks for passing the info on to us...Take into account the shock and "doom and gloom" posts and get that back to the people in charge, but dont let the outspoken whiners get you down...they really dont count in true polling concerns and Ill still vote for you as our glorius Politician correspondent every week

I think most people are mostly worried about the griefing possibilities. Say you're a bunch of guys who want to start a city, you spend lots of money and resources to build that hall, then some big PA comes in and take over your place. They get their city for free, and you're left with empty pockets. Since they're way bigger than the guys that started the city there's no real politics. When you spend alot of time and money to get something you don't want to be able to lose it easy.
