Thread: What about spawns around a player city?

One of the big things I remember about player cities...and perhaps I'm confused...is that nothing too lethal would spawn on your front door, correct?

While nothing spawns within the city radius, lethal things spawn *outside* of it, wander in, and harass citizens and tire down our militia.

We are not in a particularly dangerous place on Tatooine. We are way far away from any krayt graveyard...but did that stop a krayt lair from spawning right on our borders, and its inhabitants wandering in and killing all visitors and citizens?

Please tell me that something will change as my city grows in rank!

I don't want normal NPC city spawn systems...but PLEASE, some sort of buffer zone would be nice. Not too large, but big enough to keep things from wandering into the city all the time.

lmao. Sorry, you should be glad that stuff will spawn so close to your city but not in it. Our guild members do missions in our town because they can get them to spawn so close and still stay near thier houses and stuff.

And if we wanted to attract the krayt hunters, we would be joyous.

But we don't.

My village has hurtons and pickets and vortor lizards. Try loging on and going out side your door to see slinking vortor hunter lair right outside the city limits. Fun stuff

Probably what that last 50m is for at Metropolis, not really 'building' space, but a buffer zone for the city to push the lairs away from the city proper.
