Thread: Whos going to be the 1st Master Politician?
Personally, I was thinking about trying it. My guild is roughly 100+ strong so getting votes wouldnt be a problem. But I figured it would be futile since some guy with a guild of 200+ would cram as many small houses within city limits as he/she could.
First week I got 3300XP and trained Militia I and Customization I and saved the other 1300. This week, I'm probably going to get another 5000 XP. I've calculated out each week andwe will be able to geta Cloning Center next week and a Shuttleport the week after that, so my citizens and I are pretty happy with our progress and so am I. We alsohave HQs in our city, so techniclly we had a bank,cantina,mission terminals and insurance terminals since day 1 of our city.
Good Luck to anyone who is trying to be the first Master Politician. I hope you dont get burned out trying to cram too many houses together.
TOSH is probably going to be first to have a Master Poli on bria/naboo. I am now 2110 and will be 2221 thursday. I expect to be 2322 at the very least(i havent looked at what skills there are other than the ones we need)with the xp to spare the week after that. We are the only city with a bank/cantina/militia/mission terminals atm so I think it is a safe assumption. I could be wrong though and someone is 0330 or something and I just dont know it.
55 citizens first week? Thats freaking insane. The problem I ran into the first week was that I placed the City Hall next to 3 Factional HQs so half of the area I was given was unbuildable.
Are all your houses placed permenant? or are they just there so that people can vote? Right now, Ihave about 1/3 of my guildin their permenants spots just waiting for the city to expand and about 20 or so people in temporaries so that they can vote

Actually we had 56 but my vote didnt count. They were packed in like sardines. About 1/4were in their permanent location at that time. Now we have been relocating some of the ones in the town square and such. Now probably 1/3-1/2 are in the permanent spot. And we are now up to 68? give or take a couple who messed up their replant and have to wait til tomorrow to redeclare. We had a kinda work around for peopel with a lot of furniture. They placed thier house in a permanent spot outside the radius. I then handed out small 1 lot houses to them to place down the roads and in the town square. As the city ranks up they redeclare in thier perma house and pick up the small. We then give these out to newbies who need a house. When we no longer need them we will probably sell these at a low but reasonable rate to help pay for maintenance on our city.
OMG, you must be physic and read my mind! I'm doing the same exact thing but on a smaller scale. lol
I ran out of small naboos real quick.
Imho of Scylla will probably be right up there. I have no clue how many votes he squeezed into the radius the first week, but there's 200+ people in the city he's running.

I got 40 in the first week, and that's with half a dozen large houses in the radius and streets, loads of mediums etc. I think it'd be fairly easy to put a load more in if you have good ground and coordinated placement.
I'm already up to 55 this week, want to get more in but a lot of my crafters don't want to move until we get a shuttleport (Harvestor freaks, honestly... also known as slot junkies
)
I'd love to be in the race for Master Politician, but we'll probably end up doing it slow and steady and just getting enough XP for the essential services. (The guys aren't as worried about specializations/decorations as much as the cloning center, bankand shuttleport.) Two more weeks and we'll undergo massive growth.
