If sure this was answered on one of the other threads but all the city requirements seem to be changing alot. So does anyone know how many citizens it takes to upgrade to a rank 3 city.

As of last night my terminal said 35 needed. My concern is the level after that. Don't you need 55? Man that's going to be the dividing line for most cities I think.

I have a bad feeling devs are power nerfing cities to allow for unlimited outposts. So far

1. Only rank 3 and above on maps

2. Possible harsh restrictions on number of city structures?

Wouldn't surprise me to see them up the requirements to something like

10, 25, 50, 75, 100

Then there is the rumor about 2 shuttles per planet?

But all of this makes sense - what would be the point of EVERYONE having a city and EVERYONE having their own shuttleport? That would be a sure-fire way to kill interaction between cities, which would undermine what having a MMORPG is all about!

There is only one New York, and there is only one London - not every city can be the same

If they change the city rank requirements now, there's going to be entire cities quitting the game when their civic structures begin poofing on them because suddenly they are demoted in rank. I actually expect a fair number to do this once they decrease the number of civic structures on a planet and put in the penalties period.

Ok .. if they up the number of people needed per class.. then they HAVE to up the radius as well because I'd really like to know how the heck we can shove that many people into that small a shoe box ROFL.

I'm currently at class 2.. and I have 50+ people shoved in there and I can't fit another body in the radius due to landscape issues. We have a beautiful location however there are a few ditches and hills that prevent us from building houses. I'm sure other cities are dealing with this as well... so you want to tell me how we are going to squeeze that many people into that size radius?

Shoehorn anyone? Or how about they suddenly come up withCondo's or Dormatories?
