Thread: Another reduntant XP question

ok I know I should do a searh, but I've looked and haven't been able to find a definite answer to this.
This week, I am mayor, no competition. I'm the only one running. My question....
38 citizens.Nobody votes.I still get 38 votes by default. But do I get the XP?

yes they count, the votes being directed to you is not differant from people actually goin to the terminal and voting for you

I sure hope you're right, Gerty, because that's what all my citizens assume -- and thus they've been less diligent about voting this week. As one put it, the mayor is unopposed, so why do I need to keep voting? I think many or most have voted anyway, but I sure hope I get full XP for default votes, because that's what we've been led to believe will happen.

In my town, only about 3 people "actively" voted for me. Maybe a few more, but I know it wasn't all. I got full XP (minus Mayor vote).
