Weekly Update from the Mayor of Darkfire!

Welcome to my second weekly update keeping you - the citizens of Darkfire - up to speed on important events and developments!

WE'VE GOT A CANTINA
As many of you will have seen, we now have a Cantina! This cantina is great and we owe our thanks to Nifla and RisenStar for making it and placing it here! My wife Sunflower is over the moon as she can now dance the night away, and it's the best place to get rid of your battle fatigue and to heal yourself up. If you've not already seen it, drop by an check it out - there are always people dropping in!

WE'VE GOT MISSION TERMINALS
I have been saddened at the sight of young men and women begging for money in the street, and so I am particularly pleased to announce that we now have Mission Terminals! Outside the Guild Hall, you will notice a range of terminals offering different missions with varying payouts - I know that this will be a Godsend for many of you! Please also remember that you can earn extra cash by selling your harvested and looted items and resources on the Vendors in the Guild Hall - check the price-list on my Equipment & Valuable Items vendor.

WE'VE GOT A CLONING FACILITY
As many of you will have seen, we now have a Cloning Facility! I know that this is great news for those of you who like to pick fights with Squills have been crying out for them! Please remember to reclone in there when you get this e-mail - it will save you a run across the desert! I have placed it not far from the Cantina and Guild Hall... this may seem a little odd at the first, but reason for placing it here is that it is VERY important that people recloning here to go to the Squill Caves go past our Guild Hall to maximise passing trade which generates money for the city. Spread the word!

SHUTTLEPORT & CITIZEN BONUS: We're growing fast, and we are very close to getting our Shuttleport next week. We currently have 45 citizens and need 55 by next Friday to get a Shuttleport. Please spread the word, and update your bios to show people that you live in our great city and encourage them to come here! We may be able to offer free houses for suitable people and there will be a 25,000 (yes, TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND!) credit reward paid to everyone who convinces someone to move here and become a citizen.

OVERCROWDING IS EASING!
Our city radius has now expanded to 300m and so we have more space to place structures and welcome in new citizens. What this means is that we will soon be able to distribute houses and buildings better, so please be patient. You WILL all get a chance to move your houses, but please do not try to do this before we discuss the plan - if you redeed your house, you will not be able to use it, and you will drop off our citizen count and will not be able to place again - don't do what Tecto did =)
MILITIA: It's been a quiet week on the Law & Order front, with the exception of some covert Imperial activity in city borders. Bigbudder and the Militia have the situation under control, and will soon be publishing the laws of the City in the Guild Hall. If you spot anything suspicious, please tell Bigbudder or Argyros.

VENDORS: Please visit the vendors in the Guild Hall regularly to see an ever-expanding range of goods from the cities Artisans. Also, be advised that you can SELL things on the Vendors too - check the price list on the Equipment & Special Items vendor or the Information Vendor in the Guild Hall. Also, check out Gasprillia's new Furniture vendor to get the latest stuff for your house!
