My character will be the mayor of the city but I have a question on the residency of that character.

Ok I have seen that you must be a resident of the city and have the politician skill to run for office. What about starting a new city? On day one of the patch I will take my char to the city and train in Novice Politician. Then I will go back to my city hall location where the citys Architect has just completed crafting the City Hall.

Now, my Politician does not have a home currently in the city. Will she have to have a home in the city aftershe places the City Hallto be the mayor? I heard that the city hall is the declared residency of the Mayor so thats why I dont have a home for her.

Please let me know step by step how to place the hall and become mayor without having a house currently within the city limits.

Thanks,

Well, your city hall will be your declared residence.

But ive also been interested to know if i count (and do i get a vote as far as exp is concerned?) for city size.

Another problem you just brought to my mind, is the 7 day (is it 7?) wait between declaring residence.... with city hall automaticly you residence, will it just change residence or will it not allow you to place it till the 7 days are up?
