Thread: City Hall Size, Building on Dantooine
I need to know ASAP if it will be possible to place a city hall on Dantooine on slightly un-even ground. I can use a personal mineral harvester to measure out the squares of land, but I need to know how many the Generic city hall will use up.
Also, I know houses can now be built on certain slopes and hillsides, but what about all the other city buildings??
First off, Im not even sure there is a generic hall. To my knowledge, you build Tatooine city structures on Dantooine. I am not 100% sure aobut this, something I need to know too!
However, I have heard all different TOwn Hall grid sizes: 10X7, 9X7, etc. I would try and bugedt this much room for where you want to build. Make sure you have a compltely buildable spot, big enough, and with no interfereance.
I spent two hours looking on Dantooine for a spot to build my town hall. I found one in a big wide trench, a decent 10X11 spot. It was a rare find. Until you build more towards the center, I think it will be jsut as ahrd and rare to find such a large spot.
Correction: looks liek you build a Naboo hall on Dantooine, or so this rather resourceful website says:

The city structures are able to be placed on some pretty hilly ground. I'm talking about little hillls and bumps with a 45 degree slope. If you can, go to Test Center. There is a city there that demonstrates how much they've loosened the requirment. Its one of the 2 that have a shuttle port as of yesterday (11-10), and it's NOT New Unity. "Brain" is the Mayor there.
Basically, it's a LOT easierto place sructures in a city.
