Thread: City Specialization to everyone?

I havent yet seen anyone asking this question: Will non-citizens gain the bonues related to the City specialization? Will someone be able to cross into the city zone, call a crafting droid, and make stuff with all the bonuses for a Research Specialization? Or non-citizens getting the bonuses for for the Sample-Rich Specialization?

If so, then why would anyone join a city? Just drop a house right outside the 450m mark, and they get all the advantages without the obligations.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

My understanding is they do, they can go into the research center and craft - the poster above me is correct, the only way to prevent it would be to have the militia kill them. But they can sneak in when the militia aren't around and make their schematics anyway, hehe.

The experimentation bonus will be pretty limited. It is 15% to experimentation, not experimentation points, so I think the effect will be pretty limited, but I could be wrong.
