Thread: What happens if I DROP Politician as a Mayor?
OK, here's an interesting question:
I am currently the Mayor of a town, but I was only Mayor for placing the CH purposes, and another guild member (who is a citizen, and a politician) is going to pick up the Mayor responsibilities. He had declared his intent to run, and already received all the votes from our City. So, On Thursday, he will become the next Mayor, not I 
The question is: Can I dropPolitician BEFORE the election? I'm guessing no, since there would therefore BE no Mayor of the city then (well, at least the Mayor [myself] would have no political skills).
Has anyone tried this? Any thoughts?
well I'm not planning on dropping politician.. but go ahead and try it out, since you are.. just please post what happens if anything.
I'm guessing nothing will happen and you'll still be the mayor until the election. you just won't have the skills or abilities of a politician.. I'd like to know if you are still listed as the incumbant on the voting terminals though.

Nothing happened. I was still mayor, I was still on the ballot for mayor. I just couldn't do even simple things like change taxes.
HOWEVER, that may have changed because I did report this issue. So I would advise against experimentation.

I was so sick of the Holocron Craze, I decided to drop Master Commando, and Master TKA to Play with the 'Gentler' Professions...already Mastered Entertainer & Dancer, and I really want to punch this out (and eventually drop a Cantina in the City!)
Those who haven't done one of the Entertainer types, it's really not that hard, and it gives you a new understanding for how hard it can be to live off the pittance that people /tip you...Plus, they are totally left out of the ability to gain a holo Dev's...show those guys the love!
