It is double the xp of the next highest level you can aquire. Sorry, I still have not found a good way of putting that. Basically, what it means is, if your current level is just novice, which it should be, your next highest level you can get is level one skills. These cost 1k of xp, thus your cap would be 2k. If you had for instance 3-0-0-0 it would be 20k (i think level 4 is 10k but if its not, just double what ever it is). I hope that makes since.

This is the current hot topic. Greenmarine posted somewhere that the XP cap would be like 20x the first level box, not limited to 2x the first level box. So everyone is wondering if the cap is 2k xp or 20k xp. Big difference. We have a vice mayor who will step in if I am away from the game. We have 30+ citizens. So do I take 30 votes hoping the XP cap is 20k, possibly wasting 1000xp if it is 2k. Or do I give my vice mayor 10 votes this week and possible slow down my progression and limit the skills I can get?

Would love to have a definitive answer. I am not 100% convinced by the post attributed to Greenmarine.

What is the amount of xp per vote the politician gets? I've heard 100 and 200....

100 per vote. We'll have some good definite answers on the cap on Thursday if GreenMarine doesn't show up and verify it himself.

Thanks for the response...

It's funny howsome ofthe information out there is a little off from where it started, just enough to be confusing.....So what time do the votes get counted in a city and xp given to the mayor? Is it Midnight Thursday or Friday, est or pst?

wow, our city has 46 citizens already and only running mayor, if this is the cap then all those votes will be wasted. Just in case we are going to cram the night before the end of week and hopefuly get upwards of 70+ people in the city

Merc,

It is exactly 7 days from the time you placed your city hall. If you go to the city terminal it will tell you to the minute till your city cycle expires. So for each city it will be slightly different.

It is not exactly 7 days. After every server restart, the time gets pushed back another hour. So, it will be 7 days and 7 hours.
