Thread: Where in the town hall is the 150m measured from?
Where in the town hall is the 150m measured from? This become very important since it could be in one of the corners, it could be the center of one of the exterior walls, or it could be in the exact center of the building. Making the incorrect assumption could result in a full 45 meter error. That's a full 5 ground unit distance.
40 meters of questionable area on the entire outside edge of the circle is aHUGE percentage of the circle i.e. roughly 50% of the circle area at week 1.
) was that the center of the dome is somewhat between the center of the City Radius and the voting terminal in front of the "stage" or whatever it's supposed to represent ... it's centered from a left-right point in any case.
Forgot ... also take in consideration, that the theater placed in the Test City of QAville was actually outside the outer* Radius of 400m with more than 50% of it's structure ... but I can't tell you how much of a building actually has to be in the city radius or if certain pieces of it do (like the structure terminal ... which in case of the theater was defenitly outside the city radius).

* When you enter a city you get the "Your inside a City" Message a few meters closer to the City Hall than when you exit it ... there's a "Hyperbula" of about 4-5 meters between these 2 outer and inner radius..es (sp?

There is a 6m fudge factor on the server as to your character's location. That probably affects where you encounter the city limit.

Maybe ... but I observerd this every time all the same ... I "exited" the city at 155m from my waypoint, and entered it at 150m, no matter if running, walking or crawling.
