There is NO way Plinka would have posted that information without permission. There is NO way he would have said he had gotten permission if he didn't. TH either didn't bother asking Plinka, or didn't bother asking the person to whom Plinka reports, before slandering the newest Correspondent.

I'm very sorry to have seen this happen. There's no better way to confuse a playerbase than to publicly argue amongst yourselves. Dragging someone's name down is worse. I expect some rather interesting private communications are going back and forth today.

The one hope I have is that this is just a community management tactic, a way to diffuse focus on this aggressive cap by distracting with other issues. This has happened for as long as I've played MMOG, and has been a part of human society since records started being kept of such abstracts. I can accept that, and in large part because I'll never know.

But on the surface, TH has some explaining to do if he wants to salvage his credibility with the community he was hired to manage.

She has been doing a top job keeping us very uptodate 'as it happens' on info,

and she also is a nice person and has a nice city, visited it today Shnazy place(will getmy cheque later btw )

TH was the only one that said she leaked, Plinka and I believe JustG said she had the go ahead. Most likely she got the go ahead but TH didn't know she did, so he said what he said. Maybe she is too busy playing to post since she isn't crashing too much to play and therefore posting a lot. When servers go down, post rates go up.

In my opinion the posts on here hold very very very important questions that need answering asap. This is the single most important time to be on the politician thread and probably will remain the most important for some time to come.

I couldnt be more clear. I didn't divert attention, I specifically said it was to prevent bad server lag - - which it is (explanation about caps below). You see, the information that was released was an accident on the part of the correspondent - - which ultimately is bound to happen. That's why Im here. To work with you guys and clear up problems...like this runaway snowball

I haven't seen Plinka post lately, and I hope that TH didn't come down to hard on her and discourage her from this job. She has been awesome. TH's communication is normally as clear as a concrete so if there was a misunderstanding I doubt it was her fault.

So the devs chose not to tell us at all about the caps and expected us to read it in the final patchnotes, or what? Gee, why ain't I surprised?!

Plinka DID post today.

That was a pretty unacceptable comment by TH.

1) you do not publicly embarrass employees, affiliates, or volunteers (including correspondents)
2) you do not withhold information, if it will be revealed later on that you knew about limitations, they bit people in the ass (why won't my half-million-credit hall deploy, and what do I tell my 45 friends who are all standing around expectantly waiting on me to place this hall?), and you never bothered to tell anyone.


To recap: She was RIGHT to tell us about it, and even if she hadn't been, she got PERMISSION before doing so, and even if she hadn't been right and hadn't gotten permission regardless of being right, TH was WRONG to publicly admonish her, even indirectly.

TH is just the puppet for the dev's to give those responses...

Just read all of them, its just like reading from a script.. Always beating around the bush with peoples questions...
