Thread: What I expect to do to town griefers.
Ok, the # 1 reason I'm doing the politician tree bit, is to make our PA and surrounding area more freindly. With this ten city limit , I worry if some dweeb greifers are going to surround the new city and try and take it over and ruin the cool vision the guild has for the area. We like (and want)the 20% bonus for crafting that comes in the Poli-tree (lots of crafters!), what we don't like is the ablitity for 100 people to camp our city (with small houses)and move in on the next election. (or 3r/4th)
Frankly if that happens, most likely before the vote can go in I'll take down the city hall and put a factory or something in place to block a new city hall. The guild would rather that, than have some one grief us out of our city. We want a city, we also don't want some one to come in, and ruin our game by greifing. Partly, If I am going through this much effort to make the game better for those who work with / dealour guild and our freinds in other guilds. I'll be dammed if I just hand it over.
Is it selfish? Possibly, but with the currentcity expansion rules we'd either have to tear down, or move, and well, I'm not giving a 150k structure and what ever funds are in it to a bunch of greifers. I owe my guild and freinds that much.
There needs to be / must be a new and better solution that this!
I am in full agreement.

Too much effort has been expended to have this lost to griefers.
Anyway, you would be better off tearing up your city hall and building a new one, that way it would needto start from the beginning in expansion.
Much better idea...
Make sure that you have fewer people declared as residents in the city radius (and therefor citizens) thanthe numbered required to grow the city.
They can still all live within 150m, but you wont have to worry about the griefers getting control.
Also, this prevents what the poster above said.... you wont have to worry about them placing a hall of their own.
