More than likely many of you folks use your internet connection for something other than SWG, especially when the servers are offline..
I was thinking about the upcoming nerfs, the lack of communications, and the outright rudenss of the CSR and the Devilopers towards us the Consumer. Perhaps this is slightly off-topic, or maybe it belongs in ALL of the forumns.. but I was thinking..
We write into www.slashdot.org about our plight.. I'm mostly focused on Player Cities.. but here's the Subject I was thinking about...
SUBJECT: Game Developers not listening to paying Gamers. SWG and it's downfall.
1. Customers Pay $50 for the game, then aobut $15/month to play the game.
2. The game is more or less in Beta-Testing.
3. Numerous Bugs for simple little things
4. Slow CSR response to problems
5. Frequent Server downtime
6. Developers Ignorance of the Star Wars Galaxy
7. Jedi
8. Developers Ignoring the Paying Customers and in fact changing the game with little to now notification sent to the PAYING customers.. while lowering the playing enjoyment
9. Frequent Game Returns causing retailers not to carrying or encourage sale of SWG
10 Disrespect to Forumn Moderators.. and outright lying and taking advangate of them.
We need to find someone able to write rather well, and hit on any points I missed.. This mostly affects me in the Player City and Ranger Professions.. as that's what I am.. so I posted it here to my fellow mayors..

I've sent in MANY a story to Slashdot, some were pretty good, almost all were rejected though except for the one time I got lucky.

Take out number 7 (jedi) and replace the name of the game with a generic "game" and you've pretty much covered every single released MMOG. Go read their boards and you will find people saying the same thing.
As long as I can remember there have been people complaining about CSR response, lack of Dev responses and people thinking the Devs don't care or listen. It's old....
