I have to agree that it is weak to have to trade servers to get people to join your city. What is the point of having empty houses? People are what make a city interesting, entertainers performing, healers healing, crafters selling stuff. PVP in the streets. Doing this will allow you to reach a certain number of citizens, but it won't make your city better. You can definitely do this, but I think you would be better off making an alliance with people that actually play on your server.

Wow I thought politician would be the one profession immune to grinding. But no, here we go.Cross server grinding even!

Ok, so maybe they'll have to make it so citizens actually HAVE to vote for you to get XP. And that will suck for all us politicians who aren't trying to artificially inflate their XP rates.

But then, that's what real politicians do, so maybe people who do this should get more politician XP, since they are acting just like the real ones who lie, cheat, and steal their way to the top.

I know that there's somearguing out there on this one, but I have a city of over 30 members on Gorath, and we're looking to swap with people from other servers. You create a character on Gorath, place a house in our city, and put me on your admin list...then I do the same for you on your server. We'll provide the house on Gorath and cover all the maintenance. We've got a town full that would swap. Please send me an in-game email. Sorry if this makes some of you angry, just looking for a way to make xp quicker. Nothing wrong with that.

Geeze...don't take it so personal gang =) Some of us that didn't get placed on a major planet just needa little extra help. And I've got lots of real people in my city that make it fun and interesting. Besides...I already did a swap with one server, and both of us had such fun in each other's cities that we're going to start playing on the other servers. This isn't about lying and cheating...it's about having fun...after all, this is a game...right?

If the devs say this is wrong, then i'll be the first to quit doing it...until then, I think it's fun and a way to get ahead in the game. That's smart as far as i'm concerned. But if you don't like it...then simply don't do it.
