Thread: Conflicting Info On Oupost Citizen Requirements???

The "Advanced" guide posted today states we need a min. of 10 citizens to maintain an outpost. Is this a typo? Or has the min. been changed?

It had a lot of things in it that conflict with current knowledge. Normally, I'd say the devs guide would be what to go by but ...
... the information in there does NOT coincide with what is currently being reported by my management terminal.
... The guide refers to "Red Light Districts" which were renamed a few weeks back after the Dancer Forum objected.
I think the guide may have been written in part a few weeks ago.

Read a recent post by Th. From about the same time the feature was posted - they are upping the requirements, upping the cap, and removing the cap, taxing ability and voting cycle from outposts, so groups that just want their own little place can have it.

If they're removing the voting cycle, then that means that Outpost Mayors will gain no XP. And the only thing that can be placed in an outpost is a small garden... which takes the skill 'City Customization III' to actually do. Going to make for some very dull outposts.
