Attention all Radiant Mayors on Talus.

This is Kiro Nathar of Heliopolis (City of the Rising Sun: -407 1747)

We are growing rapidly, much like the rest of you are I'm sure, but as we grow we are establishing a city counsel which consists of myself, the Mayor, a representative from each of the 4 PAs located here, the City Building Planner, Militia Captain, Crafter Representative, Social Representative and the Combat Representative, this counsel will hopefully help guide us as we grow into the huge Metropolis that we hope to be.

The reason I am reaching out today is not to brag about our city, or do anything of the kind, but rather to extend an invitation to all city Mayors on Talus to join with me in creating a Talus Senate. This Senate will hopefully consist of all Player Cities Mayors on the beautiful planet of Talus. What is the purpose you may ask? To help facilitate and co-ordinate the growth of all Player Cities on Talus, as well as to help other Mayors discuss and share both success and tragic stories with the incumbent mayors.

Please post your feedback here, please do not flame, if you do not like this idea, that is perfectly okay and you have the right to post that, I do however ask that you do so in a civil manner.

This is the kind of player content I would really like see come out of player cities. Player cities now give us all something to fight for. They can bring true context to the galactic civil war.

However, you might find getting a bunch of people jump in right away to try to form a senate to be a bit overwhelming. Most are getting their cities set up AND THAT should be their primary focus.

I recommend at this stage, hosting events that will get all the mayors on your planet introduced to each other. On my server, I am attempting to set up a "training day" weekly event where we all train each other as our weekly xp comes in. This is like an icebreaker event. After doing things like this for a few weeks, you will get a better feel for each other and they key mayors that you will need for your senate idea will naturally start organizing. Just be open and let it organize into something everyone feels "bought" into -- perhaps it will be your senate idea, something similar -- or something you haven't even thought of. Have fun with it, take your time -- but focus on building a political "community" and you will help bring great things to your server.

I am a mayor on Radiant:Talus, and I think this is a great idea. Once my city I have got my city running well and have the city policys set I would like to be part of this. Please keep me updated on progression.
