Guys, this proposed change is on the Development board, not the announcement board, which means it's open for discussion. Let's not tell each other how bad this is, let's let the devs know how much work this will invalidate for how many.

Agreed Avalach, the point in player cities being limited to ten is that once their built and grown they can be taken over by simply swaying the citzens to vote for the mayor you choose. Then POOF the city belongs to another group of people. We don't need 1k of cities, ten will do, and that way we can actually mount huge GCW political wars behind the scenes. FUN

I got the confirmation at 5.

I just placed my city hall 4.5 hrs ago (around 11p EST), and it said i needed to get *5* weithin 24 hrs, not 10.

I think a requirement of 10 may be getting implemented soon next week tho.

I'm not a politician, but I've worked closely with my city's Mayor. It seems from what he's told me about the numbers needed that each level in TH's post was increased by 5. That may be a mistake, having started with an incorrect number, or it may be something they are going to change. Only time will tell.

I have to say that I'm real disappointed in SOE for this one. I don't expect any sympathy because 99% of the people here have massive cities already. I just wasn't expecting this. Sure my city will grow, but its a long term investment that I expected to happen over time.

I didn't plop a city in the midst of strangers. They all wanted one, but there aren't 10 of us yet. Now all my weeks of effort will be a waste of time. I wonder how many other ways I can waste my time..
