Thread: Some important, timely questions!
Ok, my real life has got me in a sling this weekend for various reasons. We set our City hall up quickly Thursday night with 5 citiziens and it said we are an official outpost. Now obviously we want to grow more than that, but I figured as long as we have the city in place, I dont have to worry about the game this weekend. So here I am checking sites at work and theres some important questions I need answered from someone cause Im all the sudden confused:
1. What is the requirement for an outpost?
I was told its5 citizens... we have 5 now since Thursday and we have been told by the system that we have an official outpost. Now Im reading its suppose to be 10? Is this true and if so when....is like my city going to fold tonight?!
2. What exactly is city cap?
Again, I was told that city cap refers to the number of player cities per planet. Not cities with the "rank" of city...I mean all total player city deeds...from outposts on up. Is this correct, or does outposts not count. And does this also mean thata planet can have 100 outposts, but the first 10 to reach city level are the only ones that can advance? Reading the site im getting all confused.
3. Can Mayors or anyone remove player houses, structures placed in their city?
Another topic that im getting different responses on. Lets say i grant zoning rights to someone and they place a harvester on the city hall front lawn. Is their a way to remove it or are we stuck?
Timely feedback to these questions would be much appreciated ...thanks and good luck.
As it is now, 5 is an outpost, but, they are planning on increasing each stage next week, when, is not known.
City map I think you are thinking is the planetary map. Your city would appear on that, under the name you gave it.
Only structures you can remove are city sctuctures, like gardens, lamps, trainers, etc. You can on the onset do a zoning rights, wich locks out all building within the existing city limits, unless the mayor grands a 24 hour building right to an individual.

According to what the devs have posted, for now you are fine. Sometime in the next week, however, it will be upped to 10. I would spend the next days getting that additional 5.

Starting sometime next week there will be no cap for outposts. However, there will be a cap at rank II. So if the cap is 10 on a planet, there can only be 10 rank II cities and above.
And does this also mean thata planet can have 100 outposts, but the first 10 to reach city level are the only ones that can advance? Reading the site im getting all confused.
It means that the first 10 to reach rank II are the only ones that can advance. Over time, the developers will slowly increase the cap watching the server performance. The will do this as long as they can until they run into the technical limitations of their server setup.

You are stuck. I would recommend gettinga milita for things like this. First, ask them to remove the structure nicely. If that doesn't worky, ask not so nicely
warn and ban can both be effective commands
Thanks for the response...can anyone second this so Im sure?
