I have spent the last 12 hours franticly reading these pages and have found no answers to my current dilema. My city updated as it should (lucky for me I padded our numbers to 20, or the old 15 would have screwed us) so my election ended, I won, was only one running. Yet I have 0 Politician experience. I and my citizens are furious to see other cities appearing on the map, and yet we can't. On top of this nightmare I have questions I'd love for plinka to answer, cause I wont believe anyone else.

1) do citizens have to vote at all if the incumbent is the only candidate? (in referance of course to XP)

2) why was sales tax still being added to vendor prices when they took away taxation from the outposts, but now that I have taxes back on again, my vendors arent charging it?

3) Where did all the sales tax go that was being charged while it wasnt supposed to be?

4) did SOE think they could put cities live with this many issues and not infurriate us all?





Please if you are experienceing the same issue as me feel free to chime in.. and please Plinka Know that without you we would all be much more pissed than we are.

PS - If so, maybe you only get xp if they ACTUALLY vote. Would make sense.

sure, except I know of at least 10 peole that voted for me, mutliple times after that hot fix. and yet 0 xp.

Id buy your theory if I had received any portion of the xp.
