My mayor declared me as part of the militia but I can't do any of the milita abilities. Anyone else having this problem?

My militia seems to work, added several people already and tested it.

Ugh. I can't grant zoning rights to anyone including myself. Hope it sorts itself out at server reset.

Same problem with our city. Was able to add people to the militia just fine, but since the main point for us to HAVE a militia was to enforce zoning in a more efficient manner, it was a small dissapointment to discover that /grantzoningrights currently isn't working.

We have yet to test the Militia's other abilities.

Well, as far as the /grantzoningrights not working you can always place a house down as mayor and then do the /transferstructure name command. Unless, that's now working either.

I found that /grantzoningrights ONLY works outside of buildings. I had a real problem wondering why it wasn't working until I tried the command outside the City Hall.

Perhaps the other Mayor commands are the same?

We had our Militia appointed last night and tested all the commands. Everything seems to work just as specified with one exception. When engaged with someone who has been warned (/citywarn), once the subject crosses the city limits they can continue to engage the militia and vice versa. Tested this out to 50m past city limits. Probably a TEF flaw and will require more restraint on our part.

But that was the only flaw we could find in the Militia's abilities. /grantzoningrights seems to function just fine. Our city is on the Bria server.

Our Militia was able to /citywarn and ban but not able to grant zoneing rights. Personaly I think this is a GOOD thing but we werent expecting it.

I just wish I could grant the ability to /grantzoningrights perminatly.

Hey - you need to remember that granting only works OUTSIDE in your city - you cannot do it inside a building.

I enable zoning and when I went to grant rights, I got a message that only the Mayor and Militia can grant zoning rights. I went to disable zoning and now i can grant rights.

My guess would be that militia that can't grant zoing right is because they don't have the /grantzoningright skill that is in novice politician!

That's incorrect. Every member of our militia can /grantzoningrights. We tested that last night. It has nothing to do with the Politician profession.
