Let me start by saying that this list assumes that you will have the maximum amount of votes possible to reach the cap. The XP cap itself, is the formula.

NOVICE CAP =(1000*2)+(1000/2) = 2000 XP

Level like this: 1-0-1-0 (2000 XP)

LEVEL I CAP =(2500*2)+(2500/2) +500 = 6750 XP

Level like this: 2-2-1-0 (6000 XP)

LEVEL II CAP = (5000*2)+(5000/2) + 750 = 13250 XP

Level like this: 2-2-2-2 (6000 XP) - Spend the rest on the lvl III skill of choice = 2250

LEVEL III CAP = (10000*2)+(10000/2) + 2250 = 27250 XP

Hope that helps everybody. And no this is not direct from Sony or anybody. I just used me brain and reversed engineered the problem. It could be wrong, but somehow I think its to logical to be wrong.

The cap isn't 2x XP.

I have 40 citizens and I got 3900xp. I purchased 3 level one skills and have 900 left for next week.

Feeling gypped, Crapgame? You probably thought you'd be able to get all four Level I boxes tonight. I know we thought we'd be able to get three of them, but ended up only getting two .

I'm trying to look on the bright side! I can buy both Fiscal and Civic Policy 2 (5000 xp) next week because I have this 900 xp banked, if I can add 2 more people. Which is already assured. I've had loads of interest since the mission terminals got here!

4200 here. I had a feeling my own vote wouldnt count and I my goal for week 1 was 40 citizens. So I got 43 just to be on the safe side =)

Next goal is 76 citizens by next thursday.

Got 5k xp. Would have been more but only so many i could cram in. So if anybody has any lingering doubts dont...uness your city grows to 202 people you will not hit the cap...ever most likely.

But to state on the mayors vote not counting ... I fortunatly read about this unforseen problem during our "update time" ... we were able to put up another house (in the middle of the street ) and get a 41st citizento vote for me before the "error" time ended... And I got 4k XP ... so the XP is obviously calculated after the "update time" ... not befor ... gives you a bit extra ... 35 minutes here ... first time I was happy to have to wait ... stillvery mad at the devs for being silent to us about expected problems once more - especialy because this apparently doesn't only effect XP but also the upgrade of your city if you just had 20 citizens!

I got 4800 xp today from 49 votes, including my own.
