Thread: Radius question
OK i've scanned through the boards but have yet to find a diffinitive answer when it comes to radius of the city and how it may be affected by established structures.
these are some hypotheticals..
-If a new city is created "X" distance from another city. They both grow and eventually meet. Is there a risk of them merging or blocking one another?
-if a faction base is placed before a city hall in a proposed city, will that deny the founding of said city? Basically, can this be used to grief a growing/founding city?
-Speaking of grief, can one type of housing, or specific houses be overly taxed?
-the radius of 1000m from one city hall to another.. is that from the actual halls like implied.. or from the perimiter of the city?
thanks if anyone knows these. ![]()

No ... as you state in your point 4 cities have to be 1000m apart from each other ... and are supported ingame only for a radius of 450m ... thus they automatically have a gap of 100m between their areas of influence.

Since now you will be allowed to have faction bases inside a player city this shouldn't be a problem

No. As far as I know you can only raise one kind of "property tax" ... a percentage that will be added equally to any building in the city area.

This is supposed to be between the 2 city halls.
thanks if anyone knows these.
thanks so much for the info.. is all this fairly known/confirmed?

It's what Plinka posted ... she should know ... she's correspondant and in more or less direct contact with develepors.
I have not seen an answer for this yet.
Does a structure have to be fully inside the radius to count as amember of the city.
For instance, if half a PA hall is inside the radius and half is outside, would the declared resident be a citizen of the city?
