Are you kidding me? now this would be griefing. Give the current mayor the power to make it so he is NEVER voted out of office because he would ban and kickout anybody who wanted to run against him. and once they have a militia they are more than welcome to use /citywarn to keep us away from the ballot box... Boy this is turning un-democratic real fast what kind of police station state do you live in?

Isn't it funny how ALL their solutions actually go beyond the DEVS rules for engagement in Player Cites and try to GRIEF US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably the same rebs who like to take screenshots of themselves with Darth Vader. This is what happens when 28 year old fat guys who live in their parents basement worship a movie series. Sad....really....griefed by their own eating/grooming habits....so they grief people online where they do not have to pay the man for their actions. Whatever...it's your $15 a month, or your parents.

Really Kirus. Up until your post it was hostile, but in an RP sense. There is no call for you to take your angst out on this discussion. Whether you think you know what is going on or not. if you arent part of this then its probably best if you just stay out of it. If you have a suggestion for Jaspor to help him keep his city then by all means go ahead. But if all you are going to do is make rude remarks of which you know nothing about just leave your immaturity on your side of the keyboard.

The best solution to right against this is to require a 2/3 majority vote in order to destroy the city hall and the city. It makes no sense that the mayor should have the immense power to destroy all the work and money put into the city, especially with the ability to "slip" into citizenship. I understand the need to have the ability to destroy the city hall (though taking this away may be another option), but there has to be a more balanced way to do it.

Small point for those of your interested, despits all protestations otherwise, the GCW is and EXTENSION of roleplaying. Assassination of an unprepared negotiating politico is a defacto statement of war. Now whether militarily we can stand up to GoA and win...that's a different issue.
