SOE Make it so there are server wars, it was possibly my favorite time online!

Haha, yep, exactly like the opening of Trammel... Well, almost.... Trammel servers were up for hours before land placement went "live", and had everybody waiting at their favorite spots. And the good ol' Recall spell allowed you to have several "backup" spots to try if you missed your initial one. It was pretty crazy...

And you had to love the system wide messages as it got closer to the minute of placement...

Ready..... Set...... Click!

And yes, it is a bad sign that this game is digging up so many bad memories of UO.

i got an 18x18 just outside the luna gate...waited online for 3 straight days...placed...rollback, placed again etc..

We placed a lovely city on Tattoine, Mos Eratta inside 20 minutes of server up..and now have 40 citizens and 60+ structures...a land doc is a land doc..UO or SWG

I agree...UO was the training ground for this SWG rush...but will all be over once caps are removed, no more rush

I was a long time UO player but I quit soon after stealth was nerfed. Ahh, the good old days of house looting and stealing. I don’t think I was around for any land rushes but I remember waiting for houses to collapse so we could loot them and place our own. We stole 3 large house deeds and a tower deed but were never able to place them.
3 or 4 of loco members are from the old UO guild (K!L) Knights of Lust.
