For someone to steal Solaris from the current Mayor and residents, they'd need to win an election. To do that, they'd need 21 votes. To do that, they'd need space for 21 houses. If they want to place in current bounds, they're going to find it a tight fit. If they place outside bounds, they have to wait untilSolaris has 35 people to grow to size 3. If that's the case, they need 36 people and houses to outvote the Mayor. The problem is cyclical.

If they can convince the current populace to vote for the new mayor, and the mayor decides to pick up the thing and move the city, I'd venture to say that you'd have a mess of ticked off citizens. But if the citizens all agree to move the city, then the city deserves to be moved.

BUT...if you want to play it safe, I'd add a dissolve city vote...only the Mayor can call it, and it should need to pass with, say, 75% of the populace.

No city is going to be "maliciously" taken over. You need a serious politician to do that...and if you're a serious politician, there's only one way you got that experience...by winning elections. Which means you HAVE a city.

Besides...anyone who dissolves a city is going to have to move fast. Do you think that just because you managed to destroy a city hall, there isn't someone else who has a deed waiting to throw it down on a moment's notice?

Further...who said that destroying a city actually puts a free spot back in the pool? What if it doesn't? Now you've moved all your friends, you've destroyed a city, and you get nothing in return.

Silly.

well I'm sorry then, but I feel for you....

if you don't have the power to hold your position, then you will lose it.... have you spoken to the hostiles?

are they just looking to rip your city hall and move elsewhere?

cause if so then maybe you may want to report that as griefing... cause imo that truly is what it is... allowable or not doesn't matter...

if they are just trying to move into the city and grow from there... well grin and bear it... you may get enough power down the road to restore you office
