Agreed. Some kind of militia ranking system should definitely be implemented before the rising politicians get up to the level where they can form one.

Totally agrees with all the ideas in this thread about separation of militia in different levels (separate /warn and /ban in 2 differents level) and separation of militia from the GrantZoningRight (put it in an other function inside City, I heard deputy was proposed)

In a more complex way, why not give the ability to mayor to simply divide his residents in different roles (he choose the name he wants too) and bestow eachrole the rights HE wants in the pool :

_ Warn

_ Ban

_ Pardon

_ GrantZoningRight

_ Place Structure : politician with that right could place strucure and the structures that could be placed would depend on the level of the Mayor.Any politician working for a mayor could help him design the city !

_ Set Taxes : politician with that right could set taxes as if they were Mayor (when the Mayor is going on holiday, an other politician is doing the interim without the need to vote off thye mayor first)
