Thread: The Questions
How many items can be placed in a city hall?
And what are the limitations on decorations, trainers, mission terminals etc for level4 and 5 cities?
can the major take money from the city treasury and give it maybe to an entertainer who runs a cantina?
(because the entertainer has no money and a cantina is great for every city)
Q: Will default votes for the incumbent mayor generate experience?
A: Yes
What are default votes? Does this mean that if someone does not vote in an election, they vote for the incumbent by default?
Thanks for all the great info.
Plinka,
I had sent this to you as a private message earlier last week, prior to the politician forum being created, and I didn't get a reply. I was hoping you had just decided to answer it in the "Answers" thread you started, but I didn't see it there either. I'm not sure why I didn't get a response, but I'll ask it again here and hope for a better result.
Question: Aside from being able to vote and be part of the militia, what is the benefit(s) to being a citizen of a city as opposed to a non-citizen who wanders in? A non-citizen has access to the cities facilities as well if I understand it right. So what is the incentive to become a citizen of a city and pay taxes for it, if you can use the benefits of it without having to actually be a citizen of the city?
I see that shuttles aren't available until you get a level IV town. Are there any other facilities that are limited by the size? cloning? med centers? etc?

Ok,
The rumor I heard is that it takes a Master Dancer or Master Dancer to place the cantina. Is this correct? Also I don't understand what you mean by footprint size, how many lots will the cantina take? Thanks for any answers as I plan on dropping the cantina when cities go live on our server and we have a large enough city!
Odd question, but I'm only just learning about the Politician profession. What is there to gain by being a politician if a player city already has a mayor, and doesn't feel like changing? What exactly can a non-mayor politican make/sell/perform/do?
Sorry for the n00b question!
Thanks all, Ickle
Can owners of cantinas and the like charge entry fees?
