Well.. as a mayor (and a merchant) most of us who are crafters doesn't seem to have a problem in my town (we have 1% tax) to help upkeep our town.
I am proposing a "reimburst on sale tax" like giving back 10% of sale tax earn back to the merchant. (those who have vendors in merchant tent that I set up)
But right now there isn't seem to be a problem, so we'll see what is going on.

You are exempt because of the tax ID. My original post said there are exemptions. I also stated that all sales taxes are local. They aren't federal.
