why not? it is a legetimate skill... consider the game suppose to "randomly" create your tree upon character creation..

If he got it two days before the patch, then he made it up, as Politician wasn't even in the game's files at that time.

Same goes to the people who are saying their holocrons said they had to become a Jedi Master. Total BS.

I'm not sure about that. Jedi was shown in the Skill Tracker for a while, so it was in the game, just not visible to everyone. They may have had Politician in the game, just locked and invisible till it was "published". Plus we don't know if this person is the same one or just someone else claiming it.

If you think about it, whats so hard to believe about Politician needing to be someones skill? It is just a skill after all.

If a holocron told me that I would be very pleased

Even if I had to work a totally different town,I could do it

remember.. the dev push out the content piece by piece for several days BEFORE unlocking the whole thing.. it is possible on the server side it is all ready to go (just need to turn it on)

who knows.

Without some evidence I definitely don't believe this. Not only would this be horrible for any "non-leader" personality, but the only politicians I want are the ones who WANT to be there.

And if the Jedi professions aren't set at character creation, then when? If they were always changing, no one would ever be Jedi and the crons would be lying to you more often than not.

And as someone else indicated, he claimed it was pre-patch. Most of those patches that came before the city patch were artwork, according to the Devs. Stuff that wouldn't have to be changed. I highly doubt they'd push a premature politician tree.
