Good if they were leaked. Thats horrible that they would put caps in and plan not to tell us.
Am I the only one who remembers TH posting in that 'Player City Caps Leaked' topic to talk about that caps DAYS before he said she leaked it out?
How can they blame Plinka if the Devs were acknowledging this LONG before they claimed she leaked it?
I mean, isnt it the job of the correspondent to give information to us and give our comments to he Devs?
Lets all take up some DB space by placing a statue in Plinka's honor.
Here are the links.

Umm, yeah. An accident? Hmm, what do you guys think? If I were a correspondant, and I found out information that would be game altering, or threatening... I'll let you guys decide.

Could you provide a link?
Thunderheart has no credibility on this issue. In that same post he claimed the reason the caps weren't released (and implied that Plinka shouldn't have released them) was because the caps would be gone before they ever got the chance to affect anyone. Yea.. uh hunh.. right.
Later he announced that everyone would have their chance to have a player city, it would just be longer than they first thought. Well that isn't really an accurate statement either.
So I'm not prepared to believe his statement about this information getting out accidentally.
Wow, if Plinka basically sacrificed her spot to leak us the information about the caps, then she has earned even more of my respect (not that she didn't already have a significant amount already).
Plinka, if you are reading this - thanks for the info and thank you for all the hard work you put in to help give all of us Politicians the knowledge to survive in this crazy city system.
to me.. such things as cap.. should be release.. but I guess the dev (being devil's advocate) is that..
1. the Devs HOPE that player won't rush for player cities (yea right)
2. The Devs HOPE they can accomidate server load for player cities before player notice (yea right)
both counts.. was hit fast and hard.... players are sure there have to be a cap (any computer programmer or gamer would know.. in any computer games.. there are limits to everything)
starting planets was already filled upto 30min from server start up...
advance planet didn't get fill up as fast due to high danger.. or not "feasible"
Limits and such should be presented to the public (except jedi.. the devs did say anything about jedi are hush hush)
I think it was poorly plan on some part.... there are a lot of players didn't get cities (at least not on starting planets) but like other (myself included) we move... and spend tons of money to move.. (I burn over 400k unit.. that unit not credit.. in resouces alone to rebuilt a lot of things... pre-patch bug)
and not to mention loss "maint" fee on old deeds.. hopefully once those are fix we can use them.
It's too bad Plinka is no longer our correspondent because she provided us all w/ more information than we were getting and she kept compiling it together even before we had this board and we were all on the TC board. If only the DEVS were as helpful as Plinka....what a shame, one of the few people providing us with good information about the game has left, looks like the DEVS and secrecy win again.
