That's a fantastic idea! Getting a 500-1000xp bonus for winning an election would really help out. I mean, who rewards politicians thatdon't getelected?Plinka- Take note!

My City updated today (along with everyone elses I'm sure) but I did not receive any xp at all. I'm kind of curious as to why?

everyone in my city got taxed today and the terminal flashes a system message on my screen that the next update is in 6 days blah blah hours blah blah minutes

Read further up. You only get XP seven days after the city hall was placed, and subsequently every 7 days after that.

Then why were my citizens taxed before the 7 days after the hall was placed? It should all happen on the same day should it not?

Ties for the Mayoral race are won by the incumbent. If a citizen does not vote manually, their vote is automatically recorded for the incumbent.

I agree that incumbents should win ties, but not that no-votes should count as a vote for the incumbent....this makes it VERY difficult for anybody new to win an election.

I don't think it should be easy at all for a newcomer to win an election. Otherwise, anyone could walk into a town, run for election and win, thus taking over the town. No votes going to the incumbent is VERY fair.
